Welcome to an introductory wine tasting where we will discuss the basics of wine! Have you ever felt lost among the shelves or just given up after trying to decipher a wine list? During this occasion we try 4 wines together and go through common terms and myths to make it easier for you to choose, serve and above all enjoy wine. Long wine country Italy has the world's largest variety of indigenous grape varieties and almost every year wins the first place in wine production. Exciting wines are produced in all corners of Italy where each region specializes in its unique wine styles. During this wine tasting, we immerse ourselves in Italy's internationally acclaimed grape varieties and visit the most prominent regions. Grape portrait Riesling
Just in time for the white asparagus to land on our plates, we immerse ourselves in Germany's signature grape - Riesling. This is one of our favorite grapes made in snus-dry to sweet bottlings. These wines can therefore be enjoyed on most occasions and are suitable for a wide variety of dishes. During this tasting, we focus on German wine regions where Riesling dominates. To broaden our horizons and challenge our tastes, we choose to highlight forgotten grape varieties, so-called “Underdogs.” We believe these grapes deserve more attention as they can offer us unique (and tasty!) drinking experiences out of the ordinary.
