This ancient and historic grape variety has its home in Burgundy, France thanks to the Romans and monks. Over time, it has also spread to almost all wine continents on the globe and is today one of the most cultivated grape varieties in the world. Chardonnay can be described as a chameleon and exhibits a variety of guises depending on where it is grown and how the winemaking is carried out. Together we sample four wines that represent some of our favorite expressions of this grape.
